In a small bowl, pour 1 cup of milk and pour the rest in the Instant Pot.

With a spoon, scoop out about half of the Fage 5% yogurt (that should be about 2.5 oz) and put in the small bowl with the cup of milk. The rest of the yogurt you can eat or put away.

Small bowl: Whisk the yogurt with the milk until there are no more lumps.

Lightly mix in the small bowl contents into the Instant Pot pot.

Turn on your Instant Pot and set your yogurt setting for 8 hours. If using the Instant Pot Max, set it to 6 hours.

After the 8 hours, pour the yogurt into a yogurt strainer and set in your refrigerator for about a day and a half or until you reach desired consistency.

Pour the yogurt into containers and refrigerate.
